Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

GIDO is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We strive to comply with WCAG 2.2 level AA and Israeli Standard 5568, and we continuously review and improve our site to raise the bar.

Conformance status

This site targets WCAG 2.2 level AA. Most content meets that standard, with the following known exceptions that we are actively improving:

• Some decorative animations may not be fully configurable beyond the site-wide “Pause animations” toggle.
• Certain colored surfaces combine with a subtle noise texture that is being audited for contrast on all text variations.

Accessibility features

• Skip to main content link (keyboard).
• Visible focus indicator on all interactive elements.
• Accessibility widget (bottom-left of every page) with: text size, high contrast, invert, grayscale, underline links, pause animations, readable font, large cursor, and reset.
• Full keyboard navigation including Escape to close menus.
• Reduced-motion preference is respected (prefers-reduced-motion).
• Semantic landmarks (main, nav, footer) and ARIA roles where appropriate.

Compatible technologies

The site is tested on recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on desktop and mobile, including with the operating system’s built-in screen magnifier and screen reader (VoiceOver, NVDA). JavaScript is required for full interactivity.
